The process of screen printing intrigues me. My next goal is to learn how to screen print. I’m fascinated by artists that do amazing detail in their work.
For instance check out the mintd store Alyoisius Spyker.
How does a person make such a delicate stencil to provide the details as shown in her work?
My personal favorite of this store is “Quiet I’m thinking.” Look at the detail in her eyes, the artist says she is contemplating “Pie or Cake”, personally I think she is thinking of her love. She’s day dreaming about seeing him again. Sigh.

Then I laugh when I see “Your annoying me”, what a feminist point of view.
“I don’t need your help! Get out of my way! Dern petticoats!” (Say this sentence with a southern accent or it just doesn’t work..)
This store is bookmarked for future purchases. I simply HAVE to buy from someone who bases what day she goes to the post office by what cakes are on sale at the bakery next door. (see her profile for further info)
Don’t you wonder what made God create something as amazing as a star fish? Talk about an artist.
There is way too much information on the internet on this little marine animal. How he gets around, how he eats, moves and what have you, but to be honest, I just want to look at them, blue ones, red ones, and pink ones! I want to see them all!
I purchased several starfish items while vacationing in the Caribbean this past spring. Now when I wear one of them, I think of that vacation.

While on dry land I can purchase some really cute Starfish items off of Etsy.
This shop Beach Bride Boutique is a cute shop. The Sea Goddess Hair Vine is lovely and makes me want to renew my vows on a beach anywhere!

TanukiLove offers a Venetian glass starfish to wear around your neck. Wow.

And I have to say this is something I would wear just to be silly~Offered by The Smiling Squid… Stars on Ice.
And with that, I will go back to my day job.
Have a nice day!

I love my job, really. The people (most) are super. The hours perfect. Work space fine. But dern it, all this work they have me doing keeps me from surfing the web!
giggle.
I do like summer time when it slows down and I can find cool stuff on the web. My day crawls by unless I'm on www.mintd.com or www.etsy.com
I also like www.flickr.com too. Its fun seeing the different pictures people take!
I visit some of my favorite blogs and play a game of majong on Redbook magazine. And that rounds out my day.
woo, I've got it made, except for the spreadsheet staring me in the face, awaiting data. DERN.
To work I go.
bye!

Oh my goodness, I've been blogged. Wow.

I love this author of this blog, she is so up to date on the latest fashion and describes how things nicely.

5:55 a.m. Just finished my walk with the dogs. Whew, it is already juicy and hot outside.
I used to spend that time walking and talking to God, I'm sure everyone thought I was crazy talking to my dogs like I did, but I was really just praying!
Now though I walk with my neighbor, she is young and pregnant. Its nice to remember how it was to be that age. And maybe just maybe I can offer some guidance to her life. If nothing else, we are getting good exercise together.
Today is my favorite day of the work week. We have co-op church is what I call it. Its a group of people that meet before work and share a brief devotional and pray together. For our company, coworkers and others. Its a nice way to bring God to work.
Ok, well I suppose i should go take a shower, have a nice day!
Set up my first web page. All by myself. Whatcha think about that?
As my son and sister will agree I'm not the smartest cookie when it comes to website development. They set up a My Space page for me and now I take all the credit! ha! www.myspace.com/whitestonestitchery
I've been reading this really cool blog lately, Anything Indie http://www.anythingindie.com/dreams_and_jewelry/
Still trying to figure out how to do this properly, but that's ok. Its my first time bloggin.
Basically I feel like a dork, but will continue on with trying to network and learn new ways to get my name and street cred built up.
