The process of screen printing intrigues me. My next goal is to learn how to screen print. I’m fascinated by artists that do amazing detail in their work.

For instance check out the mintd store Alyoisius Spyker.

How does a person make such a delicate stencil to provide the details as shown in her work?

My personal favorite of this store is “Quiet I’m thinking.” Look at the detail in her eyes, the artist says she is contemplating “Pie or Cake”, personally I think she is thinking of her love. She’s day dreaming about seeing him again. Sigh.

Then I laugh when I see “Your annoying me”, what a feminist point of view.

“I don’t need your help! Get out of  my way! Dern petticoats!” (Say this sentence with a southern accent or it just doesn’t work..)

This store is bookmarked for future purchases. I simply HAVE to buy from someone who bases what day she goes to the post office by what cakes are on sale at the bakery next door. (see her profile for further info)

Building my Business.

Well, as of August 1, I will be in serious business building mode.

Things I’ve done to build it so far:

Weebly site
Etsy Store
Mintd store
Purchased a new digi camera for awesome pictures, had new fabric labels made to sew in my clothes and get this, bought 10 yards of fabric off Ebay.

Now, how to get the traffic?

Some say blogging helps, I’m not sure if people really read my silly little blog. Why would they?

This leads me to this question…

Who in the world came up with Blog anyway?

I’m very curious now..

This article claims that Russians invented it years ago:

This one says it was Ben Franklin:

This lady claims it:

Personally I like the urban myth that Al Gore invented blogging.:)
